Dr. Srijith Nair is a highly accomplished and experienced Director of Information Security, with over 14 years of relevant experience in the field. He is currently serving as the InfoSec Director (Data & Privacy) at Careem, where he is responsible for managing data security and privacy, as well as identity and access management. Prior to his current role, Dr. Nair worked as the Chief Strategy Officer at Axiomatics AB, where he was responsible for developing and enhancing the company's strategy, identifying strategic investment opportunities, and building industry and technology partnership strategies. He has also served as the Group Technical Product Manager at Booking.com, where he was responsible for the strategy, vision, and delivery of cyber security product teams. Dr. Nair has a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Vrije Universiteit, Amsterdam, and has received a Master's degree in Computer Science from the National University of Singapore and a B.Tech degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Nanyang Technological University. He has also completed the CORe: Credential of Readiness program from HBX | Harvard Business School. Dr. Nair has extensive experience in cloud security and has worked with several Fortune 500 companies, regulated industries, and public sector organizations. He has published several peer-reviewed papers in international journals and conferences and has several patents under his name. He is a sought-after speaker at industry conferences and summits and has served on several Program Committees. Dr. Nair's technical skills include product management, research, and development, as well as experience with AWS, Azure, and GCP.
